    These are beautiful quartersawn cherry recovered from a windfall tree from central Georgia. There is nice "ray fleck" from the medullary rays evident on both sides of both scales. See pictures. The minimum dimensions are 5" x 1 1/2" x 1/2".   These will make a nice handle for your custom knife.
