    Black Olive wood knife scales . 5 inches long 1 1/2 inches wide 3/8+ thick . This wood is from the Florida Keys harvested after one of the hurricanes . It is a very hard heavy dense wood . It will not float . Easy to work with carves well . Will work up to an excellent finish . One of the best woods I have worked with . Makes a great knife handle . Picture of knife and piece of wood  just to show finish .Figure will pop with an oil finish.
